Finally got my that Skeleton Army from Greattoysonline, had the thing last Sunday but didn't have the time to take pictures of it. I always had difficulty with the lighting in my room so I had to take photos in the evening. Anyways, the photos and my review is available after the break.

Skeleton Warriors
Damn it, I must get one of these buggers. Sadly the figure is a bit scarce to fin here. I'm sort of reviving my toy collection. Well, not really a collection but more of the things that I really really want. In a bit, I'll contact a shop and ask if they can buy this for me.
Video review (not mine) and links after the break.

Monster Madness 2011
Cnimeassacre's Monster Madness 2011
I always love Halloween ever since I was a kid. And I've been following James Rolfe (more famously known as the Angry Video Game Nerd) to his yearly (so far 3rd one) Monster Madness Marathons. One video each day for the month of October! Madness indeed. Good luck James, will be really looking forward to the this. :)

Nanashi No Game
What do you get when you mix Square Enix and J-Horror? You get this! Nanshi No Game (The Game with No Name). This is one of the reasons why I study Japanese, they have the most kick ass games.
Plot as per Wikipedia:
Rumors have been circulating about a cursed role-playing game; anyone who plays it dies seven days after starting if they have not completed it by then.

Horror Manga: GYO

Well, I have to say the manga was great. It wasn't scary, more of disturbing and that was the fun of it. The best part was it wasn't too long, around 19 Chapters .
Now, whenever i'd have time i'll try to go back and read up some more.

Silent Hill 5: Homecoming
I'm such a Silent Hill fan, I can't wait till Silent Hill 5 is out. Even though I don't have a console or a PC to handle the thing when it comes out I'm still looking forward to it.
I decided to put up a the Silent Hill 5 widget, even though it's gonna mess up my blog's load time and template. It should contain some updates and nifty stuff and the like; up to its launch. Yey!
Oh yeah, more Silent Hill 5 media, courtesy of Gametrailers.

Sweeney Todd
Once again, I am late to watch one of the great movies of 2007, or is it early 2008. Oh well. I just love Tim Burton's way of either breathing (twisting the) life into his works. I so love the visuals, lighting, textures, the overall mood.

Make no mistake, this movie is not for the fearful of blood. Well, it was an interesting combination, the fact it is a musical but a horror flick of sorts.
Also I enjoyed the songs, and how I wish I could get Sweeney's accent. I guess at least how they spoke in old London. Hehe.

Kings of Power Four Billion%
Wow, simply wow. This video kicks soo much ass, its just an awesome creation. The artist for this masterpiece is Paul Robertson. The movie clip above, pales in comparison to the full version. If you are a video game fan like me, heck if you just love good art and animation, you are gonna love this. Throughout the video i had my jaw dangling in awe. Daaaamn...
Some of his other works.

Angry Video Game Nerd
Since its the holy week, no good shows on TV (as far as i'm concerned). I just wasted away in front of the PC and watched one of my most favorite thing in the world, video games. Yep, good ol' escape from your miserable life video game stuff. So i got into the ScrewAttack archives from Gametrailers and on to the Angry Video Game Nerd. All fun watches.

So here, I'm suppose to focus on Mr. AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd) for this post so here goes. Now I really love this guy; he has everything that i enjoy. His personal site, Cinemassacre, showcases his fave Horror Flicks and of course the video games. Well, video rant reviews. Haha.
Note: Hmm, im planning to either put a pic or at least a doodle for every blog post i, uhm, post. Yep, the key word is planning, again. Whee..
Update: Damn, Deviantart is on system maintenance can't upload my work yet. Oh well, maybe later.

Scream Awards and B movies!
The other evening I just watched the Scream Awards. How wish I got to watch the whole thing but at least i got the next best thing, a listing of the winners. The Scream Awards is award giving body dedicated to mostly sci-fi, horror and fantasy genres.
Well, I am currently watching The Grindhouse by Quentin Tarantino. So far the intended B-movie style is totally kicking ass. Also, I'll by acquiring a copy of The Devil's Reject and probably anything that looks good on Scream Award nominees.
Ill be updating this later or tomorrow...

Movie Remakes
Funny how Hollywood is remaking all these Asian Horror flicks. First it started with The Ring, then The Grudge, Dark Water and so on. Now they got One Missed Call and The Eye coming in. Interesting enough, Jessica Alba has taken the lead role for The Eye. At least she still looks hot here. Hehe.
I do like the effects they bring up to the plate. Sadly, most of the time they lose the Asian feel and over kill it with Hollywood glam. One remake I enjoyed was The Grudge.

Freaky Circus
I always had a thing with clowns, they just creep me out; I'm sure I'm not the only one. Currently, I am watching Final Destination 3, the intro till the scene of the movie was in the circus. Freaky as well. Hmm, maybe this was over exposure from Silent Hill.

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Since I finished Silent Hill Origins, I went off to try Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. The reviews for the game are mostly outstanding and rightfully so. I played it for a while and loved the quirky characters and the gameplay. Its all the stuff i ever wanted, good subtle witty humor, halloween sort of theme, great character design and excellent voice acting. To put it in one sentence, "It's evil, witty cute".
Theres a lot of stuff to get into this version versus the PS2's; one thing is the extra Etna mode. Just check out the review links below for more details.
I'm hoping that they also get Diagaea 2 into PSP in the near future; and some added features would be great.
Oh yeah, they even got an anime out too. Check out the downloadables there, its kewl!
